Tina Turner Tribute
English

From London to Monte Carlo, Dubai to Kuala Lumpur,  from  New York to San Francisco  and back again – Jacquie Virgil  (Phoenix) has “been there and done that! - Really!!”

Recording “Into the Night” for Douphon Records as well as  “It’s Only My Heart” for RCA Records that charted and  became an anthem that took Germany by storm. Thanks to those talented ladies, “The In-Sisters”,  for grabbing her to do the lead vocals. Next came, with Warner Bros. records, “Can’t stop the Music”, that was played in every disco that was Any disco.

Asked to write a jingle for Guess Jeans, VHI said “write some verses, girl and release it. She did!! - and the result, “A man needs a woman” recorded for Edel Records. Once again a chart buster in the European charts.

Musical theatre, something she had always dreamed of doing became  a reality… when she was hired and starred in “Beehive”. In this musical, she played Patti La Belle, Tina Turner, and after convincing the director,  also Janis Joplin.

Touring throughout the USA , Europe, and Asia , bringing her incredible energy and amazing vocals she has received accolades and laurels from all.

Whether with Tangerine Drean, Peter Maffay, Inga Rumpf, Kee Marcello (Europe), Reggie Worthy (Tina Turner’s bass man)  or B. B. King, or recording for Mick Jackson, she has truthfully  “been there  and done it” better than – you name it!

This whirling dervish with her “off the richter” performances  and obvious love for her art & craft … shining like a set of  klieg lights, is coming soon to grace,  stir, & demolish your senses –  seat belts in the ready position.  This will be a ride you won’t forget!!!
